On May 27, China’s first pile-foundation fixed offshore solar power project, China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN)’s 400-megawatt Yantai Zhaoyuan offshore solar power project in East China’s Shandong Province, was fully connected to the grid.
On December 26, the G0711 Urumqi-Yuli Expressway officially opened to traffic. It was invested in, constructed and is now operated by China Communications Construction Company Limited. With the opening of the expressway, the travel time from Urumqi to Korla has been reduced from 7 hours to 3.5 hours. As a national key project, the expressway is a core section of the G0711 Urumqi-Ruoqiang Expressway, which is part of the national expressway network.
On November 30, the integrated conservation and restoration project for the mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands, and deserts in the main area of the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, implemented by China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation, underwent final acceptance and inspection.

On April 17, the 700 MW high-efficiency ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized bed (CFB) power generation unit at Yuneng Honghe Power Plant successfully completed a 168-hour trial run, marking the official operation of the world's first 700 MW ultra-supercritical CFB boiler.
On September 25, Harbin Electric Corporation independently developed an ultra-high-temperature and high-capacity compressed carbon dioxide electrothermal energy storage technology, completed the construction of the world’s first megawatt-scale compressed CO2 electrothermal energy storage pilot system, and successfully passed comprehensive testing and verification.
In August 2025, China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd. (China Mobile) unveiled its 3.0 version of the computing power network brain, marking the full entry of the computing network into the era of “Intelligent Computing Network Brain”. With this release, China Mobile built the world’s leading and the largest nationwide four-in-one new-type computing network infrastructure integrating “computing, networking, brain, and application”.
