On November 30, the integrated conservation and restoration project for the mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands, and deserts in the main area of the northern foothills of the Qinling Mountains, implemented by China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation, underwent final acceptance and inspection. Located in Chang'an District and Lantian County of Xi'an, Northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, the project encompasses 18 county-level sub-projects. It includes crucial parts, such as wetland restoration, riverbank and embankment rehabilitation, forest quality improvement, and comprehensive land remediation. Through a series of modern conservation and restoration measures, the project is of great significance for soil erosion control, comprehensive land utilization, biodiversity enhancement, and ecosystem improvement in the northern foothills region of the Qinling Mountains. It represents a vital embodiment of the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
