A China-Europe Railway Express train, loaded with high-quality products from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, sounded its whistle for departure from Shenzhen, South China’s Guangdong Province. It will arrive in Moscow via Manzhouli Land Port in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This is the 1,000th train of the China-Europe Railway Express (Shenzhen), marking Shenzhen’s active participation in the Belt and Road Initiative and foretelling a new chapter of win-win cooperation.
The construction of a 300-megawatt floating photovoltaic (PV) power station has begun in Batang Berjuntai, Malaysia. Constructed by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), it is expected to be the largest single floating PV power plant in Malaysia and is poised to generate about 640 million kilowatt-hours annually once operational, meeting the needs of 150,000 local households.

An aluminum electrolysis project in Angola was put into operation on January 15, with annual production expected to reach 120,000 tons. The core technologies of the project were provided by Guiyang Aluminum Magnesium Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. (GAMI), a subsidiary of Aluminum Corporation of China Limited (Chalco). It’s the first time that a China-supported aluminum electrolysis project has been implemented on the African continent, marking yet another achievement of the green industrial cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative.
