The plant, which is located in Kazakhstan’s Jambyl Region, has a single sulphuric acid unit with an annual production capacity of 800,000 metric tons. It is the largest high-standard sulphuric acid production project in Central Asia and fully adopts China-made advanced acid production processes.
CNCEC has provided jobs and cultivated technical professionals for local communities during the construction of the project, delivering tangible benefits to the region.
The operational plant fills a key supply gap in the region, marking a significant step for Kazakhstan in the production of essential chemical raw materials. It is also an example of China-Kazakhstan mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation, and contributes to advancing the China-Kazakhstan permanent comprehensive strategic partnership and building a closer community with a shared future for humanity.
