According to Xing, with the growth of the economy and the composite national strength, building a higher-level emergency response system is crucial for the modernization of Chinese governance system and capacity. On the other hand, China’s expansive lands and complicated climates demand a more efficient emergency response system.

“Aviation emergency rescue is an important part of water-land-air integrated rescue capabilities,” Xing said. “But the existing scale and structure of rescue equipment fall short of meeting the people’s growing demand for better emergency response.”

Xing noted that Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., as a leading State-owned enterprise in the R&D of the aviation emergency response equipment, should take the responsibilities to support the building of China’s aviation emergency rescue system. This includes developing more advanced equipment with broader applications and a more comprehensive product lineup, he said.

To make the proposal more targeted and attainable, he made various visits and surveys and participated in symposiums to solicit advice.

“I hope my proposal can contribute to building an aviation emergency response system in China. I hope that the next-generation rescue equipment would be able to provide a more timely response and more precise and efficient services to better protect the people and promote the high-quality development of the society and economy,” Xing said.
