On November 14, Peru’s Chancay Port marked its first anniversary of operation. Peru's customs data show that in the first nine months of the year, the port handled exports worth 603 million dollars (4.24 billion yuan) and imports worth 984 million dollars, significantly boosting regional economic growth. From January to September this year, 62% of Peru's agricultural exports to China were shipped via the Chancay Port operated by China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, generating sales about 210 million dollars and establishing an efficient route for Peruvian specialty products to access the Chinese market.
