
On November 11, the Simandou Iron Ore Project—one of the world’s largest and highest-quality mining projects—was officially commissioned at Port Moribaya in Guinea. With planned annual capacity reaching 120 million tons, the project is jointly invested by China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited and Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, and collaboratively constructed by China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited, Aluminum Corporation of China Limited, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, China Minmetals Corporation, CRRC Corporation Limited, China Railway Signal & Communication Co., Ltd., China Railway Group Limited, China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, China Communications Construction Company Limited, and Power Construction Corporation of China.
