Test flights were recently conducted on AC332 and AC352 civil helicopters developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd. (AVIC) at the Jiansanjiang Wetland Airport in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province.

The AC352 aircraft was planned to carry out test flight for 20 hours under the temperature between minus 25 degrees Celsius and minus 40 degrees Celsius. Data obtained through the test flight will be used to assess the service life of the aircraft and give solutions to reducing its operation and maintenance costs, and improving its competitiveness.

The AC332 helicopter has basically completed the development flight test on speed, height, and weight, as well as balance characteristic, static stability, and dynamic stability.
The test flight under extremely cold temperature was also done on the helicopter.
