At the signing ceremony, CNPC signed procurement agreements with 10 partners, including Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco), Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, and Schlumberger. Throughout the 6th CIIE, CNPC signed procurement agreements with 22 partners from around the world, with the total contract value exceeding $17.1 billion.

Since the first CIIE, CNPC has made full use of the important platform to conduct trade and promote cooperation with international partners. Over the six years, CNPC has accumulated procurement contracts totaling $110 billion with 164 suppliers.

In its 30-year international development journey since 1993, CNPC has achieved leapfrog development in its global business, and established a mutually beneficial international cooperation framework. Particularly since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed 10 years ago, CNPC adhered to the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, and has created a series of flagship energy cooperation projects in countries along the Belt and Road.

To date, the company has developed five major oil and gas cooperation zones, four oil and gas pipe lines, and three oil and gas operation centers overseas. A complete industry chain has been established focused on oil and gas exploration and development and integrated with pipeline operation, refining and petrochemicals, and oil product sales. This diversified oil and gas supply pattern has promoted the smooth development of national energy industries, sustainable economic and social development, and global oil and gas trade.
