Sinochem Holdings Signs Contracts Exceeding $13.5 Billion at 6th CIIE

Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. (Sinochem Holdings) organized its four overseas subsidiaries, Syngenta, Adisseo, Elkem, and KraussMaffei, to participate in the exhibition of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, and held a signing ceremony where its signed procurement contracts surpassed $13.5 billion, with sales exceeding $1.9 billion, marking a new high in contract amounts for Sinochem Group over the six years of participation in the CIIE.

Sinochem Holdings' subsidiaries signed cooperation agreements with over 30 customers from more than ten countries and regions, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ethiopia, France, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Thailand, the United States, and Japan. Collaborative agreements were reached with globally renowned companies such as Saudi Aramco, Vitol, Mitsui & Co. Energy Ltd., Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Dow Chemical, CHIMEI Corporation, Kao and Nylonkong. The imported products include energy chemical products such as crude oil, coal, refined oil products, vinyl acetate, and methanol and chemical equipment, as well as food and agricultural products like coffee beans, fruit juice concentrates, and soybeans.

Through strengthened collaboration with global energy, chemical, and agricultural enterprises, Sinochem Holdings can effectively expand access to upstream resources in related domestic industries, diversify import channels, and ensure the stability of the industrial and supply chains.

Overseas subsidiaries of Sinochem Holdings signed multiple supply agreements at the signing ceremony, with a total sales amount exceeding $1.9 billion.

Since the first CIIE was held in 2018, the company has been consistently involved for six consecutive years. The CIIE has become a platform for the company to deepen cooperation with global partners, and foster collaborative efforts throughout the entire industry chain and promote shared success for high-quality development.
