China State Construction Signs Contracts Worth RMB 2.16 billion at 6th CIIE

Ten subsidiary companies of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) inked strategic procurement agreements valued at RMB 2.16 billion (around $300.85 million) with 19 international top-tier enterprises at the 6th China International Import Expo on Nov 6, marking a 24.1 percent increase over the signing volume of the last CIIE.

Twenty-one subsidiaries of CSCEC participated in this CIIE. The CSCEC‘s headquarters and 10 subsidiaries visited the technology and equipment exhibition areas and held an on-site centralized signing ceremony. The contracts signed at this event involved 60 strategic framework agreements with 19 international brand suppliers from eight countries, including the United States, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Japan, Denmark, and Hungary. The purchasing intentions include electrical intelligence systems, elevators, building automation systems, air conditioning units, water pumps, compressors, and other large-scale systems and equipment.

Over the last six years, CSCEC has made the most of the CIIE platform to target global high-end engineering equipment, gain an in-depth understanding of the impact of changes of new products, technologies, and services on the construction industry, and foster global strategic partnerships with renowned international suppliers. The endeavor has allowed the company to accelerate the development of its resource pool, enhance its global resource allocation capabilities, and build a well-managed comprehensive global industrial and supply chain system.
