Top-notch network support
China Mobile Group Shanghai Company Limited (China Mobile Shanghai), a subsidiary of China Mobile Limited, has established a special support team for the CIIE and created detailed support plans and tasks based on previous years' experiences and network assessments. They are striving for greater disaster recovery capabilities, lower infrastructure requirements, comprehensive frequency band support, and complete 5G coverage to enhance the quality and user experience of 4G/5G networks within the support area.
Previously, China Mobile Shanghai expanded 5G network for the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center, and added and deployed various network devices, ensuring extensive 5G coverage within the support area, including large venues, multifunctional halls, the exhibition avenue, entrances and exits, inter-hall passageways, office buildings, parking lots, and more.
Currently, new 5G sites have also been established and simultaneously enabled with 2.6G and 4.9G dual-frequency dual-carrier aggregation, allowing for flexible use of more and larger frequency band resources, and increasing downlink rates. The dual-frequency 5G network is also activated on site to support the D-MIMO technology that solves interference.
In preparation for this year's CIIE, China Mobile Shanghai has upgraded its custom-built support intelligent platform for CIIE to version 6.0. This platform utilizes real-time signaling and big data stream processing technology to provide robust real-time monitoring of business volume and network performance within the support area. It also optimizes resource allocation in a timely manner, catering to needs such as video streaming and live video connections. Furthermore, it can track and present the number of users and traffic changes for top apps within the support area, ensuring a seamless end-to-end user experience. The support platform also provides data-driven support for traffic management during the event, introducing a new module for displaying the transportation options available for visitors to the CIIE area.
China Mobile Shanghai will further enhance 4G/5G wireless network emergency measures and conduct all-network support during the event that will cover one core, five hubs, three high-speed rail lines, three major subway stations, and 15 main roads.
Experienced service team
China Mobile Shanghai uses its new information service system focused on connectivity, computing power, and capabilities to provide a comprehensive service perception for exhibition organizers, participants, and visitors.
During the event, a service team formed by China Mobile Shanghai's Qingpu branch will be stationed at the CIIE venue. This team has provided services for five previous CIIEs, and it boasts excellent business capabilities and extensive service experience. They have developed a set of tailored services for common tasks during the event, such as account activation and SIM card replacements. This team will provide prompt communication service consultations and handling for participants on site.
The company has set up CIIE reception counters in various service centers in the vicinity of the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center to quickly handle visitors' service requirements.

Efforts have also been made to implement the 10086 service hotline, electronic channels, and city-wide service centers for a seamless experience. China Mobile Shanghai has incorporated "CIIE elements" into all mobile service centers across the city. The service teams at service centers organize training to enhance service quality and response efficiency. The service centers display official CIIE promotional videos, CIIE-themed posters, and table cards, and offer exclusive CIIE service packages. The 10086 foreign language services will extend its hours during the CIIE.
In addition, China Mobile Shanghai actively aligns with the organizers' needs and has prepared in advance for the deployment of various intelligent applications including venue big data passenger flow management, 5G emergency platform, and ambulances.
