China Huadian Corporation LTD (CHD), one of major energy suppliers for the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), has geared up its efforts for the opening of the high-level international trade event.
CHD is committed to providing the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), known as the "four-leaf clover," with high-quality and uninterrupted clean energy as well as first-class services.

CHD has summed up its previous service experience, shorn up weak links, taken into account all kinds of scenarios in the drafting and execution of a special power grid and heating supply plans, and conducted several rounds of safety checks against hidden risks in the smooth operation of special machinery, gas systems and energy pipelines.

According to CHD Shanghai branch, the power generation and energy supply capacity of the power station in the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) has registered a year-on-year increase of 87.14 percent and 48.53 percent respectively and has provided power & energy supply services to over 120 exhibition & convention events.
Since early this year, CHD Shanghai branch has put the services of the 6th CIIE on its agenda and made plans for the maintenance and repair of its relevant equipment to ensure stable power and energy supplies against any potential incidents.

CHD Shanghai branch smoothly undertook regular maintenance of six internal combustion engines in the power station for the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from Aug 10 to Oct20 without any interruptions to normal energy supplies.
Additionally, four lithium bromide units of the power station for the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) have been switched from cold supply mode to heating supply mode since Oct 19. They have also undergone solution circulation testing to ensure energy supplies during the 6th CIIE.
Moreover, CHD Shanghai branch has collaborated with the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on the decoration of a cooling tower sump, road and other facilities of its power station to bring to attendees a fresh impression during their visit.
