China-Aided New Schools Handed Over to Nepal

The public schools renovation project in Nepal’s Sindhupalchowk District, undertaken by China Railway First Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, was successfully handed over on August 11.

It’s a China-aided construction project to improve the Nepali people’s livelihood. The renovations, involving a total area of approximately 4,581 square meters, include teaching buildings, dormitories, canteens, playgrounds and other teaching and living facilities at two local schools.

The project has addressed the shortcomings in local basic education infrastructure and upgraded the conditions of outdated school buildings.

Serving as a vivid example of pragmatic people-centered cooperation between China and Nepal, it will advance the development of local educational undertakings.
