Since China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited (Air China) received its first C919 in August 2024, the corporation’s C919 fleet has steadily grown and seen higher operational efficiency and better capabilities. Air China now has 12 C919 aircraft, which have completed over 12,000 flights with more than 1.62 million passengers.

Before the international route was opened, more than 10 domestic routes had been launched, linking Beijing with other major Chinese cities, including Shanghai and Hong Kong.
