Gansu International Logistics imported 170,000 metric tons of Newman Blend Lump from Australia, with a total trade value of 120 million yuan ($17.36 million). Newman Blend Lump is a high-grade hematite goethite Australian lump ore. The shipment has arrived at a Chinese port and is ready for sale.
It took Gansu International Logistics 49 days to complete the import process, from signing the contract to delivering the shipment, setting a record for operational efficiency. The import of another two shipments is progressing as planned.
Gansu International Logistics has built an integrated supply chain by cooperating with upstream Australian resource enterprises, international shipping companies, domestic port agents, and downstream factories, mines and traders and engaging with banks and insurance companies. This approach has enabled the optimization of letter of credit issuance rates and insurance costs, effectively reducing overall trading expenses. Based on this closed-loop operation from sourcing to final delivery, Gansu International Logistics has developed a streamlined, efficient, and replicable operating model for international bulk commodity trade.
Gansu International Logistics intends to contribute more to building the global industrial and supply chains by providing a comprehensive solution that integrates logistics, trade and industries. It will play an active part in promoting the coordinated development of domestic and foreign trade, and strengthening the high-level opening-up of Gansu Province.
