The 141,900-gross-ton vessel is 341 meters long and has 2,130 luxury cabins to accommodate more than 5,200 passengers. Among its many facilities are 26 beautifully furnished restaurants and bars, a huge theater that can accommodate 1,000 people, a shopping mall, an art gallery, a gym, a spa center and a children’s club, thereby meeting the needs of tourists of all ages.
The Adora Flora City is a sister ship of the Adora Magic City, China’s first domestically built large cruise ship, and has better spatial design and is equipped with more advanced technologies, enabling it to offer better service. The vessel’s hull is longer and more delicate and its atrium area is doubled. It has an Art Nouveau interior style and floral patterns are prominent throughout the vessel, creating a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for passengers.
The Adora Flora City’s public space and outdoor activity area reach 25,599 square meters and 14,272 square meters, respectively, 735 square meters and 1,913 square meters larger than those areas in the Adora Magic City.
The smart interaction systems will be introduced in the Adora Flora City’s cabins and public areas, thereby offering passengers a high-tech voyage. The quintessence of Chinese culture will be integrated with food, entertainment and services to create a Chinese-style cruise.
The Adora Flora City is environmentally friendly. Equipped with a desulfurization system and a selective catalytic reduction system, it meets the Tier Ⅲ emission specifications of the International Maritime Organization, making it more environmentally friendly and low-carbon.
As a new domestically designed and constructed cruise ship, the Adora Flora City marks a new milestone in China’s large cruise ships and injects new momentum into Shanghai’s development as an international shipping hub.
