Zhang Yuzhuo, Chairman of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), met with Roland Busch, Chairman of the Managing Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG, and Teo Chee Hean, Chairman of Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (Temasek), who came to China to attend the China Development Forum 2026, in Beijing on March 22.
During the meeting with Busch, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as the digital transformation of enterprises, the industrial application of artificial intelligence, etc. They expressed willingness to further explore cooperation potential, enrich the scope of collaboration, and jointly advance the intelligent, green and integrated development of industries.
Following the meeting, the representatives of both sides signed a renewed memorandum of cooperation in the presence of Zhang and Busch.
During the meeting between Zhang and Teo, they held in-depth exchanges on China’s reform of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and future cooperation between Temasek and Chinese central SOEs. Both sides agreed to strengthen exchanges on the regulatory and governance model for state-owned assets and SOEs, and create more opportunities for practical cooperation across various areas between Chinese central SOEs and Temasek as well as its affiliated companies.
Officials from relevant bureaus of SASAC attended the meetings.
