China Southern Air Holding Company Ltd. (CSAH) will add new international routes to its summer-autumn flight season in 2026, including those from Guangzhou in South China’s Guangdong Province to Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, and from Beijing to Helsinki, capital of Finland. It will also increase flights to Australia. These moves will improve connectivity with partners in Belt and Road cooperation.
CSAH´s Beijing-Helsinki route will open on March 29. This will be the airline’s first route to Finland and the only direct flight currently operating between the capitals of China and Finland, creating a new aerial bridge linking China with Northern Europe and offering a new convenient option for travelers.
The Guangzhou-Bishkek route will also be operational on the same day. It connects the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with Central Asia, facilitating trade and cultural exchanges between China and Kyrgyzstan.
CSAH will also increase flights to Australia and Southeast Asian countries. The Guangzhou-Sydney route will be expanded to three flights daily, while the Guangzhou-Perth and Guangzhou-Adelaide routes will shift from seasonal services to year-round operations. More flights will be added to the routes from Guangzhou to Southeast Asian cities, such as Vientiane in Laos, and Sabah and Penang in Malaysia, bringing more options for tourism, business trips and family visits.
