The AC332 helicopter completed its cold-weather envelope expansion flight tests at Genhe Airport in North China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Its performance provided crucial evidence for its airworthiness certification.

In the 10 flight tests totaling 11 hours and 24 minutes and 4 ground tests totaling 2 hours and 15 minutes, the AC332 helicopter completed 16 low-temperature test items, such as training model parameter modification and Category B takeoff. These tests verified the reliability and safety of the aircraft’s systems and components under extremely cold circumstances, ensuring its capability to perform missions such as supply delivery, search and rescue and medical evacuation.
