On November 8, 2019, the one-million-kilowatt generating unit of Indonesia's Cilacap III Project, commissioned by the State Grid Hubei Electric Power Research Institute, successfully completed its 168-hour full-load trial operation in a single attempt and was officially put into commercial operation. Located in Cilacap County, Central Java Province, Indonesia, the project has an installed capacity of 1×1 million kilowatts, fully adopting Chinese power equipment and technical standards. It is one of the first million-kilowatt coal-fired power units exported by China and a significant BRI project implemented in Indonesia.
