Constructed by the Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Development Center (HWTT), the 300,000 ton seawater desalination project in Oran, Algeria, has now been successfully commissioned. With a daily output of 300,000 tons of desalinated water, the project produces more than 100 million cubic meters of fresh water annually, effectively alleviating the region's water shortage. Highly recognized by the Algerian President and government, the project demonstrates "Chinese quality" and "Chinese speed," setting a model for China-Algeria cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative.
