Adhering to a specialized division of labor, intensive management and lean operations, Daduhe Company has optimized resource allocation and streamlined work procedures to tap into its potential. Ten hydropower stations are under construction and half of them have entered the crucial preparation phrase for operation.
The company’s annual power output accounts for one third of the grid of Sichuan and supply one fifth of the province’s energy consumption. To leverage the synchronized advantages of hydro power, thermal power and new energy, the company plans to construct three more project clusters.
As a pioneering project, the Pubugou Hydropower Station has integrated over 770,000 kilowatts of photovoltaic capacity into its operation. A hydro-solar project has been unveiled at the Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station. Six thermal energy branches are also put in place to facilitate coordinated development with photovoltaic energy.
During the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period, Daduhe Company plans to fully leverage hydropower, thermal power and new energy to make breakthroughs in strategic emerging industries. This helps achieve its goal of investing over 100 billion yuan ($14.36 billion) to double the installed capacity. In this way, Daduhe Company is expected to provide clean energy for the western development, the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and the construction of China’s strategic hinterland in the new era.
