China Tourism Group Corporation Limited (CTG) has spearheaded in recent years an initiative to consolidate and streamline China’s cruise operations into a single, state-owned cruise operation platform company. This initiative was completed in December.
The new platform will reportedly operate Asia’s largest cruise fleet that includes large luxurious vessels such as the Adora Magic City, the Adora Mediterranea, the Nanhai Dream, and the Piano Land.

Boosting consumption
The cruises Adora Magic City and Adora Mediterranea embarked on their maiden voyages from Qingdao and Dalian, respectively, achieving 100 percent occupancy and strengthening the cruise industry in North China, thus stimulating the "debut economy" and encouraging regional consumption.

Conducting international operations
Primarily departing from Shanghai, the cruise Adora Magic City has completed over 160 voyages, serving nearly 630,000 domestic and international visitors across the regions of East, South and North China.
Based in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the cruise Piano Land focuses on international routes. It served as a “floating hotel” for participants at the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit, marking China’s cruise brand as a leader in international high-end services and cultural exchanges.

Taking patriotic and social responsibilities
The cruise Nanhai Dream made 73 voyages in 2025 without any incident, hosting 28,700 passengers.
