On May 1, Tashan AsExo-TK1000, China’s first consumer-grade hip-assisted exoskeleton robot that integrates AI gait prediction and torque adaptive technology was officially launched. Developed independently by the Hangzhou Zhiyuan Research Institute Co., Ltd. in Zhejiang Province, a subsidiary of China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, the product marks the exoskeleton equipment’s transition from the professional use to the mass market, pioneering a new trend in smart wearable devices. The product covers diverse application scenarios including walking assistance for the elderly, industrial handling, sports training, mountaineering and hiking, and emergency rescue.
