The China-Laos 500 kV Interconnection Project is advancing rapidly as its Laos section enters the third phase of overhead conductor installation with active construction on transmission towers and power lines.
Once operational, the project will support a two-way electricity exchange capacity of 1.5 million kilowatts between China and Laos, and provide approximately 3 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually.
