As the company’s first newly built 64,000-ton vessel, “Jin Hai Run” departed from Tianjin Port in late September, fully loaded with engineering vehicles, steel products and other general cargo, embarking on its maiden voyage to Europe. After sailing through the Strait of Malacca, the Indian Ocean, Djibouti, the Red Sea and the Suez Canal, it reached Turkiye after more than a month at sea and will continue to Italy. Covering key nodes along the Belt and Road, this voyage marks a major step in the company’s business development.
To ensure a smooth maiden voyage, Fujian Shipping Company coordinated closely across departments. The vessel safely navigated the high-risk waters of the Gulf of Aden and passed through the Suez Canal on November 3, delivering timely and professional shipping services.
The successful launch of the European route will further strengthen Fujian Shipping Company’s cross-regional allocation capacity, enhance its responsiveness to market dynamics and better meet diverse and high-standard logistics needs.
