As a key crossing that connects Yining City and Qapqal Xibe Autonomous County in Xinjiang, the bridge reduces travel time between the two areas by nearly one hour.
Located at the junction of Yining, Kokdala, and Qapqal, the bridge begins at Yining Park within the Korgas Economic Development Zone, spans across the Ili River, and ends at the Wetland Park in Qapqal County. It extends over a total length of 2,028 meters and is designed for a speed of 60 km/h.
