The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) commenced in Shanghai on Nov 5, attracting participants from 155 countries, regions and international organizations. Over 4,100 overseas companies participated, with the total exhibition space exceeding 430,000 square meters — a new record.

China Energy Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (Energy China) is featured in Hall 4.1 with a technology-driven exhibition, showcasing its pioneering innovations: “Energy Storage No.1” and “Green Hydrogen No.1.”
“Energy Storage No.1” showcases Energy China’s compressed air energy storage (CAES) solutions. Its 300-megawatt CAES demonstration project, the world’s first of its kind, has been connected to the grid, achieving world records in unit capacity, storage scale, and conversion efficiency. The company has launched over 50 CAES projects nationwide.
“Green Hydrogen No.1” emphasizes advancements in the hydrogen energy industry, including cutting-edge technologies in green power supply, flexible ammonia synthesis, and integrated wind–solar–storage–hydrogen–ammonia–methanol systems.
Energy China has developed more than 50 projects in green hydrogen, ammonia, and methanol, including the world’s largest green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol project in Songyuan, Jilin Province, which is set to begin operation soon.
