CEAH Unveils 2025 Winter-Spring Flight Schedule

Updated: October 31, 2025

China Eastern Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. (CEAH) began its 2025 winter-spring flight schedule on October 26, deploying 820 aircraft across 253 destinations in 39 countries, including 88 international destinations.

CEAH will operate an average of 3,130 flights per day, representing a 0.4 percent increase from 2024, with 3,220 international and regional flights weekly, marking an 11.65 percent year-on-year growth. The airline’s new schedule includes 953 routes, comprising 756 domestic and 197 international routes.

CEAH has focused on enhancing its core hubs and optimizing express routes, launching 38 new domestic routes. These new routes primarily serve popular winter tourism destinations, including the northeastern provinces and Xinjiang. It has also increased flight frequencies on the Qingdao–Changchun route and launched several new international routes, such as Beijing Daxing–Muscat and Taiyuan–Kuala Lumpur.

Notably, CEAH will launch its Shanghai Pudong–Auckland–Buenos Aires route on December 4, 2025. This 20,000-kilometer route will connect the Eastern and Western Hemispheres, as well as the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, making it the first commercial flight route linking antipodal cities. Additionally, it will set the record for the world’s longest one-way flight.
