Leveraging digital, smart, and green technologies, this system will maintain reliable electricity for the opening ceremony and all competition venues. The Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Stadium will see a spike in electricity demand due to extensive lighting, sound, stage, and special effects equipment. Once anomaly is detected, the system automatically issues an alert, allowing the command center to dispatch on-site personnel for quick response. Through its “sky-space-ground” digital module, the system can also control AI devices such as robotic dogs to perform remote patrols.

To ensure stable electricity for the ceremony, the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd. has installed eight dedicated power lines across three substations and an energy storage station, forming a dual-supply backup network that allows seamless power switching in extreme situations. The bureau has also designated 59 key monitoring points and assigned dedicated personnel to ensure power supply during the event.

Currently, over 400 professionals from 15 specialized teams of the Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau are stationed at the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center Stadium, providing support and emergency response for the 15th National Games.
