Two China-Europe Railway Express trains, coordinated by Shandong Hi-Speed Group, recently completed a successful “two-way operations” at the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Area (SCODA). One train, loaded with Shandong-made home appliances, departed for Russia, while another arrived from Kazakhstan carrying over 1,600 tons of high-quality feed wheat.
Since 2018, Shandong Hi-Speed Group has operated more than 4,600 China-Europe Railway Express trains in the SCODA, including a record breaking 1,017 departures in 2024 — setting a six-year consecutive high. The network now spans 22 international routes reaching 23 countries and 54 cities across the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and Belt and Road corridors. Key routes such as the “SCO Express” and the “Japan-Korea Land-Sea Express” have established Qingdao into a major gateway to the Asia-Pacific.

It provides customized services for enterprises, operating over 520 dedicated supply chain trains for brands including Haier, Hisense, Linglong, and Chery, serving more than 7,000 export companies.
By innovating multimodal operations and integrating warehousing, transport, and trade, the group has enhanced logistics efficiency, boosted trade, and strengthened regional supply chains via its China-Europe Railway Express trains. It will continue to promote the trains as a key “golden channel” connecting China and SCO countries.
