On July 29, TravelSky Technology Limited (TravelSky) officially launched its groundbreaking “Qihang” Foundation Model, along with a series of intelligent innovation products.
The model has successfully obtained two approvals from the Cyberspace Administration of China, including the “Generative AI Service Filing” and “Deep Synthesis Algorithm Filing,” making it the second model from TravelSky after the “Qianrang” Model — to secure these regulatory clearances.
Jointly developed by TravelSky and China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., the Qihang Model is the first vertical large model in the civil aviation sector that deeply integrates general-purpose artificial intelligence technology with industry-specific expertise.
It boasts robust generalization capabilities across diverse scenarios. For instance, by leveraging the full potential of TravelSky’s system interfaces and deeply integrating data from airlines, airports, and agents, the model builds an intelligent agent collaboration system that supports applications such as smart customer service and dangerous goods advisory tools.
The model has already been successfully deployed in several innovative applications, including the Qihang Smart Customer Service System, the Civil Aviation Dangerous Goods Intelligent Assistant, and an omnidirectional baggage-picking robot for airport operations.
