From the highways of Central Africa to the rail systems of Southeast Asia, China Railway Sixth Group Co., Ltd. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the company is undertaking the Mwendito - Kanyama Road Rehabilitation Phase 1, a vital 10.7-kilometer route that connects major urban centers and surrounding villages. The first phase of the project has dramatically improved local transportation, highlighting the role of Chinese enterprises in supporting infrastructure development across Africa.

Despite challenging local conditions — including limited power supply and underdeveloped roads — the project team quickly established a secure, well-equipped base camp and implemented international-standard construction and management practices.

CRSG has also left a significant footprint in Southeast Asia. In Vietnam, the company was responsible for building the Cat Linh–Ha Dong Metro Line, the country's first urban rail transit line. The project has become a landmark of China-Vietnam cooperation under the BRI, and has received widespread recognition for its quality, safety, and contribution to easing urban congestion.

Overseas experience has become a valuable asset within CRSG, with many returning employees advancing into key management roles. International assignments strengthen capabilities in cross-cultural communication, problem-solving, and adherence to global standards.

The company also encourages localized innovation. Financial and management systems developed during overseas projects are now serving as models for future international operations.

To support talent development, CRSG provides regular training in international bidding, legal compliance, and project management. Returning staff are offered suitable positions based on their expertise and personal circumstances, ensuring both professional growth and family well-being.

By combining technical excellence with a commitment to local development, CRSG continues to deliver high-quality infrastructure across the globe. Through roads, railways, and urban development projects, the company is demonstrating the responsibility and commitment of Chinese central SOEs.
