China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited (Air China) officially launched its 2025 summer-autumn flight schedule on March 30, increasing total daily flights to 1,748, a 7.3 percent rise compared to the previous year.
The airline now operates along 462 routes – 113 international, 13 regional and 336 domestic – serving 198 cities across 45 countries and regions.
Air China has increased frequency on 80 domestic routes, including Beijing–Urumqi and Chengdu–Hangzhou. It has also introduced five new routes, such as Beijing–Altay, Beijing–Dalian–Suifenhe and Chongqing–Kashgar, and resumed two routes, Chengdu–Wuyishan and Shanghai–Wenzhou.
The company has boosted frequency on 13 international routes, including Beijing–Stockholm, Shanghai–Hanoi and Chengdu–Tokyo. Additionally, it has launched four new international routes, including Beijing–Vladivostok, Beijing–Irkutsk, Beijing–Toronto and Beijing–Cairo, and resumed flights from Chengdu to Paris.
The C919 aircraft will continue operating along six domestic routes, including Shanghai and Chengdu, while the C909 will primarily serve the Beijing–Baotou and Hohhot–Chifeng routes.
