As a crucial upgrade to SWS’s dockyard capabilities, the 1,000-ton gantry crane will alleviate the burden on existing equipment, enhance the efficiency of segment unloading and hoisting operations, and support the construction of larger and more integrated ship sections.

SWS is set to further improve the turnaround rate of the primary types of ships at its No.1 dock, advancing its strategic production targets under China’s 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).
