Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC), has launched two fifth-generation 174,000-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers at its western shipyard.
Aided by tugboats, the H1800A vessel for the QatarEnergy LNG project and the H1883A vessel for the 174,000-cubic-meter LNG project were safely floated out of the dock.
Two additional large LNG carriers have completed their float-up and block setting operations.
The company remains committed to meeting its production schedule by implementing new techniques and advanced construction methods, enhancing lifting efficiency, and improving float-out completeness. These efforts lay a solid foundation for achieving its annual launch targets, ensuring steady progress in delivering high-quality LNG vessels.
