“As an NPC deputy, my role is to stay closely aligned with industry trends, propose high-quality recommendations, and support technological innovation and industrial upgrades,” Yang said.

With extensive experience in automotive prototyping and R&D, Yang has been recognized for tackling technical challenges and overcoming industry bottlenecks. Over the past year, he has conducted extensive grassroots research, engaging with R&D teams, engineers and industry stakeholders to gather insights and refine his legislative proposals.

He believes that China’s “vehicle-road-cloud integration” strategy is crucial for building an intelligent transportation system that enhances travel efficiency and safety. To accelerate its implementation, he suggests establishing benchmark cities to promote standardization and infrastructure interoperability, as well as conducting unified framework testing to facilitate actual applications.

Yang is also focused on advancing the NEV industry. He has called for collaborative innovation in material development, structural optimization and process improvements, alongside stronger policy support for lightweight vehicle technologies, which will contribute to China’s dual carbon goals.

“I will remain committed to conducting further research, listening to industry voices, and providing valuable policy recommendations to facilitate China’s automotive transformation and upgrade,” Yang said.
