On February 21, CREC’s subsidiary, China Railway Jiujiang Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully installed the first T-beam for the Batang Saribas Bridge project in Malaysia. Located in Sarawak, the 4.69-kilometer bridge will significantly reduce logistics time and stimulate regional economic growth by connecting to the coastal road, benefiting tourism, trade and other industries.

On February 18, China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group Co., Ltd completed box girder installation on a first segment of the Zhuhai-Zhaoqing High-Speed Railway. The Heshan yard, the largest box girder production yard for the project, produced 704 box girders.

On February 19, the first main transformer was successfully installed at the Yicheng North Traction Substation on the Xiangyang-Jingmen High-Speed Railway, marking a major step towards electrification, testing and full operation of the line. The 47-ton transformer is one of eight to be installed as part of the project.
On February 24, China Railway Seventh Group Co., Ltd.’s Xi’an branch completed the first concrete pouring for the 0# block of the cantilever beam on the Yangzhou section of the Nanjing-Yancheng Expressway project. The 0# block is located on the cantilever bridge of the Gaoyou Lake Grand Bridge, which spans the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.
On February 22, the “Lotus No.4” shield-tunneling machine for the Lianhua Mountain Raw Water Pipeline project in Dongguan began operation. This project aims to enhance the city’s water supply security and is a key part of its dual-source water system.

On February 22, China Railway Electrification Engineering Group Co., Ltd. successfully installed the first contact network pillar for the Liuzhou–Wuzhou section of the Liuzhou–Guangzhou Railway, marking a key milestone in the construction of this key high-speed railway.
