China Poly Group Corporation Limited (Poly Group) is advancing with innovation and determination, making significant breakthroughs in major projects and pushing forward toward a good start to the new year.
The Rosso Bridge project, undertaken by Poly Changda Engineering Co., Ltd. (Poly Changda) under Poly Group, has entered the superstructure construction phase. As the first cross-border bridge connecting Senegal and Mauritania, it will reduce cross-border travel time by 70 percent and increase annual cargo throughput by over one million tons.

The Shiziyang Channel, also undertaken by Poly Changda, has resumed full-scale post-holiday construction with the successful completion of the T18 segment of the east cable tower. As the first double-deck river-crossing corridor in the Pearl River estuary, the project will set five world records in terms of main span length, number of lanes, tower height, anchorage foundation and main cable scale, marking another milestone in China’s bridge engineering.

China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sinolight Corporation under Poly Group, has recently signed an EPC contract for the second phase of a project in Malaysia. Located in Selangor, this project will establish a high-end containerboard production line with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons. Upon completion, it will become one of the largest and most advanced paper production lines in Southeast Asia, contributing to the global expansion and industrial upgrading of China’s papermaking sector.
The main structure of No.1 Plant of China National Arts and Crafts Group Co Ltd (CNACGC) Culture (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., undertaken by a subsidiary of CNACGC, has been successfully topped out. The project will cover the entire industrial chain of precious metal design, refining, services and sales, focusing on high-precision industrial and cultural products. It aims to drive technological innovation and support China’s high-end manufacturing strategy.

The Shitoumei mining EPC project at Santanghu, undertaken by Poly Xinlian under Poly Union Group Corporation, has resumed full operations. With a contract value exceeding 2.4 billion yuan ($0.33 billion), the project will facilitate the release of 20,000 tons of mixed-emulsion explosive production capacity, optimize the local coal industry structure, and promote the integrated development of coal and electricity.
