On February 18, China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group Co., Ltd. (CISRI) and Registro Italiano Navale (RINA) signed an agreement in Beijing, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership in the field of advanced material testing technology for key energy sectors.
The collaboration will focus on building high-level experimental technology platforms and providing technical consultancy, aiming to drive high-quality development in the new energy industry.
The two parties will establish an international cooperation platform for research, evaluation and engineering applications of low-carbon new energy materials. This initiative will enhance China’s capability to provide integrated lifecycle solutions for new energy materials, supporting the development of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system while fostering high-quality industry growth.
Looking ahead, CISRI and RINA will work together to tackle key technological challenges in global low-carbon development and energy transition. Through joint efforts and mutual benefits, the two sides aim to contribute to the high-quality advancement of the new energy sector and the creation of a cleaner and more sustainable world.
