At 3 pm on June 30, after 7 years of construction, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan cross-sea passage was officially opened for trial operation. This passage spans both sides of the Pearl River Estuary, and the travel time from Shenzhen to Zhongshan has been reduced from 2 hours to just 30 minutes.
