On April 23, 2024, Al-Medad Primary School in Al-Kahlaa city, Missan province, Iraq, held a graduation ceremony for the graduates in the school to congratulate them on completing their primary school education.

This school is one of the public welfare projects of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC)’s subsidiary in Halfaya oilfield, providing local community with assistance including infrastructure construction and basic equipment provision. Since the school began enrolling students in 2019, nearly 3,000 Iraqi children have been taught at the school.
