In December, China Telecom Corporation Limited officially launched the "Tianyan-504," the nation's single-machine superconducting quantum computer with the highest number of qubits. It will be integrated into the world's first quantum computing cloud platform with quantum advantage, named "Tianyan," which has been open for external services. This marks a dual upgrade in computing power scale and type for the "Tianyan" quantum computing cloud platform, establishing the largest quantum computing cluster in China consisting of one 24-qubit, two 176-qubit, and one 504-qubit quantum computers.
Additionally, it offers five categories of world-class computing performance, high-performance simulation machines, and the Cqlib series programming framework, representing another leap forward in China's quantum computing capabilities. These new achievements signify the transition of quantum computing from verifying "quantum supremacy" to entering the era of dedicated “quantum computing simulators.”
