On December 10, the 2024 Forum on International Communication of Chinese Culture was successfully held at Beijing Language and Culture University. This year's forum was themed “Openness, Integration, and Innovation: Advancing the Global Reach of Chinese Culture”. The event brought together representatives from more than 20 professional institutions, along with renowned experts from both China and abroad, specializing in the fields of thought, culture, and international communication.
The “ORIENT AESTHETIC” program was officially launched at the forum. Jointly initiated by the Center for International Cultural Communication (CICC) and the China Theatre Association, the program aims to create a cross-media communication matrix in a specialized field, foster international exchanges, and expand the development of cultural heritage and creative industries. Strategic partnerships have already been formed with institutions such as the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST) and CASC Commercial Space Technology Co., Ltd. to promote the deep integration of culture and technology.
The forum featured eight themed seminars on topics including publications, theatre, poetry, academic research, science fiction, science and technology, and industry. These sessions explored various aspects of the international communication of Chinese culture from different specialized fields.
