The launch of the StarExpress Lancang-Mekong is an important milestone in CTG ASSET's efforts to deepen tourism cooperation between China and Laos. It also supports the development of tourism along the 1,035-kilometer China-Laos Railway, which connects Kunming, China, with Vientiane, Laos.

The China-Laos Railway, operational since December 2021, serves as both a symbol of friendship and a vital corridor for economic and cultural exchange.
