Located in the China-SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone (SCODA) in Qingdao, East China's Shandong Province, the center was built by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) and covers an area of 180,000 square meters.
It is a key construction project in Qingdao and features prime office buildings, hotel-style apartments, an administrative service hall, a conference center, a planning exhibition hall, financial and business services, and supporting commercial facilities.
The center will serve as the headquarters base of the Ruyi Lake Commercial Complex of the SCODA and as a SCODA benchmark urban complex and will create a platform for economic and trade exchanges tailored to SCO member states.
