China Logistics Group Co., Ltd. has completed transportation of the first batch of aid supplies to Pakistan in support of the public purchase project of the United Nations.
The transport was jointly contracted by CTS International Logistics Corporation Limited, and China Logistics Group Co., Ltd.’s subsidiaries in Mexico and Shanghai.
The supplies included small-sized tailoring and sewing machinery, intending to improve capacity of local clothing manufacturing enterprises and promote local employment to increase income and improve livelihoods.
It is a program launched by the United Nations Development Program.
The company is now improving delivery of the second batch of aid supplies to Pakistan and will continue to contract with the UN public purchase project.
