A China-aided vocational training center in Huambo, Angola, designed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., was launched on Jan 12.

Covering an area of about 20,000 square meters, the center features teaching buildings, laboratories, training factories and supporting buildings.
It is the third comprehensive training center in the country.
Construction of the project started on June 24, 2021. The Chinese and Angolan sides signed the delivery certificate on Jan 11, 2024.
The launch of the center is expected to promote industrial development in Angola and provide talent support for independent and sustainable development of the country.
The center is expected to provide training for 2,400 people in the first phase every year.
