Drilling of a development test well at the Bozhong 19-6 gas field in the Bohai Bay was completed on Jan 15. The deepest depth reached was 5,910 meters, a record high for the Bohai oilfield.
The accomplishment lays a solid foundation for safe and highly-efficient development of the Bozhong 19-6 gas field.
While setting a record in drilling depth, the Bozhong 19-6-M4 well also yielded high output, with a daily crude and natural gas output of 284.5 cubic meters and 52,000 cubic meters, respectively.
